Basements with water damage are tricky

This basement is being used as a storage area for this buildings tenants above. A major supply line pipe burst and left a major amount of water on the floor of this basement.  SERVPRO of Renton arrived quickly to assess the situation. We carefully extracted the standing water on the basement floor and then directed our attention to removing the remaining moisture in the air to protect the belongings of the tentants inside each storage unit. If we were to have not done anything other than remove the water, the possibility of mold growing is extremely high. By using a dehumidifier in the affected area, we minimize the risk of mold forming.
